Renowned baritone Lawrence Tibbett and Cesar Romero (who would later become famous for his portrayal of the Joker on TV's "Batman") co-star is this black-and-white classic, the first film to come out of the newly minted 20th Century Fox studios. When an opera diva known for her temper tantrums walks out on her troupe of young singers, they're forced to put on a show without her. Fortunately for them, the leading man has magnificent pipes.
