The village of Goodman's Land is turned upside down when its postman, Dave Cutler (Rupert Walz), is killed while making a delivery. Detective Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and Detective Gavin Troy (Daniel Casey) discover that Cutler was a ladies' man who romanced women along his daily routes. It seems obvious that the postal worker was murdered by one of his girlfriends or a jealous spouse ... until someone else turns up dead.
