All is not well in the King family when its scion -- the owner of a Midsomer County glassware business -- dies and his brother marries his widow. In short order, allegations of financial irregularities arise and the firm's accountant winds up dead. Now, Barnaby (John Nettles) must rely on his assistant's knowledge of Masonic rituals and his daughter's role in a production of "Hamlet" to yield the clues that will unravel the mystery.
