Just as Troy (Daniel Casey) finds out about his new promotion, Detective Inspector Barnaby (John Nettles) learns that a tunnel collapse has unearthed some mysterious skeletal remains and, more importantly, trapped his wife and daughter. As the inspector works the tunnel, Troy deals with resentment from his co-workers while investigating one last case before leaving. Jane Wymark and Laura Howard co-star in this premiere of the series's seventh season.
