This Indian blockbuster was nominated for nine Filmfare Awards and won three after its 1967 release. That year's award-winner for best actress, Nutan, plays Radha, a rich girl who falls for the poor ferry operator, Gopi (Sunil Dutt). As in so many romances of this ilk, the key to lifting love's obstacles is in the rendering of poignant ballads, and there are more than a few tear-stirring ditties to choose from here.
