When Olympic medal winner John Kent is stripped of his award on a technicality, he begins training his young son, Johnny, to make it to the Olympics. In time, Johnny becomes a world-class athlete, only to jeopardize it all when his initial success sends him on a downward spiral of hard drink and fast women -- including the daughter of his father's former Olympic rival. Lynn Shores directs this drama starring Bruce Bennett and Joan Fontaine.
