When prospector Jeremiah Stone died in a gold mine in the 19th century, he placed a curse on the loot inside. Now, a group of twentysomethings stumble on the mine at the same time an inadvertently reanimated Stone arrives to reclaim his treasure. Armed with a pickaxe, the "Forty-Niner" (Brad H. Arden) suddenly seems more interested in blood than gold. This slasher flick features cameos by Karen Black, John Phillip Law and Jeff Conaway.
