Sisters Wanda (Patricia Heaton) and Sarah (Meredith Baxter) can't agree on what to do with the family land after their mother's death. Wanda wants to keep the land, while Sarah, who has something to hide, needs to sell. The two are surprised to find Lilly Cooper (Della Reese) living on the land as if it were her own. When Sarah's daughter (Anna Chlumsky) looks into Lilly's past, she stumbles upon something that will bond the women forever.
