Femme fatale Dana Lambert (Lesley Ann Warren) joins the hit series this season, which finds Jim Phelps (Peter Graves) and the rest of the team tackling assignments in the United States as they go after organized crime and homegrown terrorists. In other action, an evil doctor programs Paris (Leonard Nimoy) to kill Phelps, and the squad faces what may be its most important mission when a foreign power launches a satellite containing a nuclear bomb.
