Upon hearing that he's been named the new laird of Glenbogle, Archie MacDonald (Alastair Mackenzie) leaves behind his hectic job as a restaurateur to assume the post in his childhood home. In the show's fourth season, Molly (Susan Hampshire) returns from Africa to find that Archie is cooking up another harebrained scheme, and Lexie (Dawn Steele) must decide once and for all if she'd rather be the laird's wife or a cook.
