Introducing a host of new characters, the sixth season of the cherished series continues the chronicle of the MacDonalds and Glenbogle. As the estate's new master, Archie's brother Paul (Lloyd Owen) sets out to modernize it, rankling the traditional Golly (Alexander Morton). Meanwhile, Paul is tormented by sister-in-law Lexie (Dawn Steele), who has returned from New Zealand, leaving husband Archie behind.
