Cartoonist Stu Miley (Brendan Fraser) finds success with his raucous creation, a troublemaking simian named Monkeybone. But after a car accident puts Miley in a coma, he finds himself face-to-face with Monkeybone in a freakish netherworld called Downtown. Blending live action with stop-motion animation, this imaginative comedy follows Miley as he fends off Monkeybone's mischievous mishaps and tries to find his way back to the real world.
