Though eyewitnesses recount Pat Fisher hysterically dodging cars on a busy highway, Detective Inspector Tom Monroe suspects there's more to the case than the accidental death of a mentally disturbed man. Digging into Fisher's past -- all the way back to 1976 -- Monroe uncovers a string of dead classmates. Adding to the mystery is the dead man's obsession with a 10-year-old girl's murder and ominous warnings from beyond the grave.
