After her business manager absconds with her fortune, frosty ex-supermodel Maddie Hayes (Cybill Shepherd) has one option: sell her remaining asset -- a detective agency headed by wisecracker David Addison (Bruce Willis). In no time, the two wage verbal warfare ... until a corpse turns up in an elevator. Next thing you know, Maddie and David join forces to crack a convoluted caper involving missing diamonds and a hit man sporting a Mohawk.
