An ex-gunslinger struggles to stay out of trouble in this dramatic Western. After 18 years behind bars, "Killer" Cain (Clint Walker) is a free man determined to begin a new life. Out of desperation, he accepts a job as sharpshooter in Ruffalo's (Vincent Price) traveling sideshow, but is relentlessly provoked by a jealous colleague. Cain yearns for a normal life, but is finally forced to take action when Ruffalo's murdered. Anne Francis co-stars.
