Morgan (David Warner) is an artist with his head in the clouds. When his desire to escape reality drives his wife, Leonie (Oscar-nominated Vanessa Redgrave), to divorce, it sends Morgan over the edge. In his outrageous attempts to win her back, he draws unwanted police attention and ends up in a psychiatric asylum. Irene Handl stars as Morgan's mother, who lives with her own set of delusions about her son.
