When recently widowed Elly Dinsmore (Deborah Raffin) hires ex-con Will Parker (Christopher Reeve) to help out on her farm, the situation proves healing for both. But just as they're settling into a new rhythm of life, Will falls under suspicion for murder. Standout performances elevate this romantic drama set in Depression-era small-town America.
