Bounty hunter Sonny (Michael Dudikoff) finds himself in the middle of a mob war when an easy case backfires and he's left framed for the murder of a Russian mobster. Now he must try to stay alive long enough to clear his name. His pregnant wife, Casey (Michelle Johnson), and Det. Don Racine (Billy Dee Williams) try to help him, but in the end, he's on his own against the American and the Russian mobs.
