Opportunity knocks for aspiring novelist Gene Maxwell (Benjamin Ratner) when his ex-fiancée, B-movie star Liz Woodward (Elizabeth Berkley), needs Gene to help move her daft father (John Neville) into new digs before she heads to Europe for an acting gig. If Gene succeeds at the deceptively difficult task, he may just win back Liz in this genial indie comedy set in Vancouver, B.C. Jay Brazeau and Babs Chula play Gene's squabbling parents.
