Lester Grimm (Eric Stoltz) can't control the jealousy he feels toward Dashiell Frank (Chris Eigeman), the best-selling author ex of his gal, Ramona (Annabella Sciorra). He takes his unfettered insecurity issues to a new level when he goes undercover to attend Dashiell's group therapy sessions. Writer-director Noah Baumbach's romantic comedy co-stars Bridget Fonda, who plays Dashiell's current squeeze, Irene.
