Mr. Moto's Last Warning

Sphinxian sleuth Kentaro Moto (Peter Lorre) finds himself in the midst of international intrigue when he investigates a plot to sabotage French vessels traveling through the Suez Canal. Intent on igniting a war between France and Britain, the baddies (Ricardo Cortez and George Sanders) aim to frame English agents -- unless Moto can foil the dastardly scheme. The fine supporting cast includes John Carradine and Virginia Field.
