Amitabh Bachchan stars as Ram Prasad -- a celebrated medical doctor whose brother Bharat (Ali Khan) is framed for murder and subsequently commits suicide in prison -- in this Bollywood drama. To add to Ram's tragedy, his wife (Dimple Kapadia) passes away shortly thereafter; then, he's implicated in the death of a patient. Now a wanted man, Ram escapes the police, determined to find the real culprits responsible for destroying his life.
