Widow Margaret Delafield (Katharine Hepburn) shocks her uptight family when she reveals her new boyfriend in this comedic made-for-TV movie. After the death of her husband, Margaret boldly moves on and finds romance with Marvin (Harold Gould), her Jewish doctor. But Margaret's and Harold's families disapprove of the match, forcing the couple to confront their narrow-minded kin as well as some intolerant neighbors (Denholm Elliott, Brenda Forbes).
