Sometimes, it takes the innocent perspective of youth to give a jaded senior a new lease on life. A 9-year-old boy who's about to be packed off to a foster home takes it on the lam -- with his grandmother in tow -- and tries to outrun the hotly pursuing authorities in this winning comedy-drama with a big heart. Stars Ellen Burstyn, Michelle Bauer, Ann Block and Bill Bonham. Charlie Matthau (Walter Matthau's son) directs.
