Millionaire spinster Cassandra "Cassie" Denham (Sarah Padden) invites a crazy collection of friends and relatives to her mansion for a reading of her will. But when the guests start dropping dead at midnight, the hunt is on for the killer. Suspicion falls on Cassie, though street-smart reporter Bob White (Wallace Ford) thinks it's a setup. This fun, family-friendly whodunit goes heavy on the wisecracks and revolving bookcases.
