Detective Tim Murtaugh (Patrick Duffy) tracks a blackmailing serial killer in this gripping crime drama. Alex Brandt (William Devane), an ingenious murderer terrorizing Portland, Ore., blackmails the enemies of his victims, threatening to frame them for the crime unless they give him a large sum of cash. Recognizing Brandt's modus operandi from a Chicago case, Murtaugh tries to outwit the murderer before he can strike again.
