Murder in the Museum

  (1934)
In this paean to Tod Browning's Freaks, director Melville Shyer hits his own freaky stride. The Sphere Museum is a repository of freaks, sexy dancing girls and other oddities. And the museum's sideshow caters to sleazoids looking for lurid entertainment. A couple of local politicians visit the museum (run by a sinister professor and his sick sidekick) hoping to close it down, but when one of the politicians is murdered, a mystery looms large.
