Mute Witness

While working on a low-budget horror flick being made by a group of young Americans in Moscow, mute makeup artist Billy Hughes (Marina Zudina) get locked in the studio -- and witnesses the production crew shooting a snuff film. Though they claim the murder was faked, the disbelieving Billy doggedly pursues the case and is gradually drawn into the web of the Russian underworld. Alec Guinness appears in a cameo as the instigator of the proceedings.
