Mutiny in the Big House

After forging a check to help his destitute mother, Johnny Davis (Dennis Moore) ends up in the state penitentiary, where the prison chaplain (Charles Bickford) urges Johnny to stay out of trouble while his cellmate, Red Manson (Barton MacLane), pressures the newcomer to assist in a jailbreak. When Red threatens Johnny's life, he's forced to decide between death and deliverance in this engrossing drama from director William Nigh.
