Winner of China's Golden Rooster Award for Best New Director, Jinglei Xu artfully helms and stars in this coming-of-age tale about a teenage girl and her troubled relationship with her father. Although she has spent most of her life with her mother, introverted Jing (Xu) must start anew with her estranged father (Daying Ye) after her mother dies in an accident. Can the two find a common ground and learn to be a family?
