My Name Is Joe

After living the past two decades of his life as an alcoholic, Scotsman Joe Kavanagh (Peter Mullan) is pursuing sobriety and giving back to his Glasgow neighborhood by playing soccer. Problems arise, however, when a struggling teammate (David McKay) and his drug-addict girlfriend (Anne-Marie Kennedy) enlist Joe's help in repaying a debt to a dangerous gang. Louise Goodall co-stars as the troubled couple's caseworker.
