A Golden Palm nominee at Cannes, this drama centers on Parisian grad students coping with uncertain futures. Paul (Mathieu Amalric) is an assistant philosophy professor who can't finish his dissertation and finds he's unhappy in his 10-year relationship with Esther (Emmanuelle Devos). He dreams about his best friend's fiancée, Sylvia (Marianne Denicourt). But when Paul breaks up with Esther, his love life becomes considerably more complex.
