Brad McCullum (Michael Shannon) begins to have visions that make him believe he's living in a Sophocles play in this psychological thriller inspired by true events. The events he thinks he experiences lead him to commit a brutal, bloody crime with a sword. Directed by Werner Herzog and executive produced by David Lynch (Mulholland Dr.), the film also stars Willem Dafoe, Chloë Sevigny, Michael Peña, Grace Zabriskie and Brad Dourif.
