One of Giuseppe Verdi's greatest operas, "Nabucco" addresses the timeless themes of struggle and romance in the days of Nebuchadnezzar, king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire around 600 B.C. This production was recorded at Milan's Teatro alla Scala and features baritone Renato Bruson in the title role. Conductor Ricardo Muti leads an impressive cast that also includes Ghena Dimitrova, Bruno Beccaria and Paata Burchuladze.
