When an ambush led by corrupt police Commander Fernándo Gómez Miranda (Rogelio Guerra) claims the life of her father and her teenage sister, Camila (Ana Colchero) is forced to take over the family business and finds herself thrust into the seedy world of organized crime. Complicating matters even more, she lands at the center of a love triangle between half-brothers Luis (Jose Angel Llamas) and Alfonso (Demian Bichir).
