In this remarkable, noirish drama series that is presented as a semi-documentary and represents a more idealistic time, NYPD 65th Precinct Det. Adam Flint (Paul Burke) and Lt. Mike Parker (Horace McMahon) investigate often-grizzly crimes. In Set 2, episodes feature a patrolman who loses his cool over his wife's spending, a Bohemian poet who raises eyebrows and a delusional woman (Sandy Dennis) who causes harm.
