After completing the first wave of their ninja training, Naruto, Sakura and Sosuke, now known as Team 7, are forced to put their new skills to the test when they join their sensei, Kakashi, in a battle against renegade ninjas Zabuza and Haku. Following the battle, Team 7 returns to the Hidden Leaf Village to join the other Genin teams for the dreaded Chunin exam -- the test to determine which youngsters are ready for the next level of training.
