White cop Hank Rafferty (Steve Zahn) loses his job when a misunderstanding makes it appear he's beating African-American police wannabe Earl Montgomery (Martin Lawrence). And when Hank is released and gets a security guard gig, he's stunned to see his new partner is Earl. Still stinging from Earl's false accusations, Hank agrees to put aside his hostility when he and Earl team up to shut down a complex smuggling ring in this zany action comedy.
