In a series of educational sessions, Neil Peart -- famed drummer and songwriter for the rock group Rush -- chronicles the creation and production of Rush's "Test for Echo" album and showcases his lifelong evolution as a modern percussion artist. Peart deconstructs each song and demonstrates methods for engineering a drum part, selecting rhythmic approaches, use of a practice pad, timekeeping, drum kit orchestration and more.
