Arun (Subbaraju) secretly loves Anu (Shreya), but when the two plan to elope, Arun's rich father sends the police to arrest him, sparking an emotional tug-of-war. Venu (Nagarjuna Akkineni), a poor dockworker, rescues Anu from the cops, shelters her in his home and reunites her with Arun. But Arun's treacherous father isn't done meddling yet. Determined to split up the young couple, he accuses Anu of having an affair with the noble-minded Venu.
