Steve McQueen stars as Nevada Smith, a half-white, half-Native American who seeks to avenge the murder of his parents at the hands of gangster Tom Fitch (Karl Malden). Smith solicits the help of Jonas Cord (Brian Keith), who teaches him how to use weapons to his advantage. Smith devotes every thought and action in preparation of the moment he can gain his revenge, letting nothing get in his way until he sees that justice is served.
