Tom Reynolds (Frank Sinatra) -- leads Burmese guerilla fighters in a string of arduous battles against encroaching Japanese soldiers. Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Gina Lollobrigida, Peter Lawford, Brian Donlevy and Dean Jones are among the star-studded cast in this movie from director John Sturges.
