Separated from their family during World War II , a young Jewish brother and sister (Michael Phelman and Ania Bukstein) arrive alone in Israel, where they hope to be reunited with their parents. Settled in a refugee transit camp, the siblings struggle to navigate through their new world, encountering colorful characters -- some supportive of the new immigrants, others exploitive -- and unexpected situations. Orna Ben-Dor Niv directs.
