In this Charles Dickens-penned tale, after losing his father, teen Nicholas Nickleby (James D'Arcy) must find a way to support and protect his sister, Kate (Sophia Myles), and mother (Diana Kent). One hope is their uncle, the greedy and shiftless Ralph Nickleby (Charles Dance). But Ralph's only intentions are to separate and exploit the family. Stephen Whittaker directs this Bravo miniseries produced by Great Britain's Channel Four.
