It's a case of opposites attract (and sometimes detract) when Mayuko, a college student living in a tiny apartment, shares her cramped quarters with NieA, a 7th class under-alien who lives in her closet and keeps occupied by constructing complicated alien technology from Mayuko's trash. Mayuko must somehow contend with her own prosaic life while coping with the man-eating plants and curry wars conjured by NieA's considerable powers.
