Night Tide

In this moody black-and-white thriller, a lonely sailor on leave (Dennis Hopper) falls hard for a girl (Linda Lawson) who plays a mermaid in a carnival on the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. Even after discovering that her last two boyfriends mysteriously drowned and that she harbors supernatural secrets, the sailor refuses to give up on his mermaid. Curtis Harrington (Picnic, Killer Bees) wrote and directed.
