Helmed by Jerzy Kawalerowicz, this taut psychological thriller chronicles the journey of a woman who boards a packed holiday train and ends up embroiled in the search for an escaped killer. Fleeing from her cast-off lover (Zbigniew Cybulski), winsome Marta (Lucyna Winnicka) finds herself reluctantly sharing a Pullman with uptight Jerzy (Leon Niemczyk) … who seems to be on the lam. Is he the murderer the police are pursuing?
