Cary Grant stars as legendary Broadway tunesmith Cole Porter in this biographical film about the composer's life. Porter's early years in Peru, Ind., his success on the Great White Way and his crippling riding accident are worked into the melodrama. Alexis Smith portrays Porter's glamorous wife, Linda Lee, while highlights include Mary Martin's performance of "My Heart Belongs to Daddy." Jane Wyman co-stars.
