Think of this film as a distaff version of Barbershop. Nora (Jennifer Lewis) runs a neighborhood hair salon where coifs are second in line to gossip, romantic problems and some cat-fighting. Besides being the boss, Nora is also a motherly figure for her employees -- Clo (Tamala Jones), Lilleana (Tatyana Ali) and Devin (Jean-Claude La Marre). Bobby Brown and Lil' Kim make cameo appearances in this hair-raising comedy.
