In the third season of this offbeat CBS comedy, homesick New Yorker Joel Fleischman (Rob Morrow) continues to adjust to life in the isolated Alaskan hamlet of Cicely, as he befriends eccentric residents including spirited pilot Maggie (Janine Turner) and ex-cosmonaut Maurice (Barry Corbin). This season also introduces unruly woodsman Adam (Adam Arkin) and his hypochondriac wife, Eve (Valerie Mahaffey).
